Omega Moon captured in Maine, last lunation

John Stetson, a Maine photographer, obtained this rare apparition of the almost Full Moon, immediately after the penumbra lunar eclipse had ended, centered on the other side of Earth earlier this Month, not long after sunset. The Omega Moon is taken over water, as light passing through a sharp thermal boundary close to the Earth's surface.
