Simulated Orion Crew Module Polished and Painted

The Orion crew module mock-up, recently delivered from NASA Langley,
was primed and painted at Edwards Air Force Base
as another step towards NASA's first test of the astronaut escape system.

After a suitable paint job at Edwards, the Orion Block One test mock-up is now at Dryden where it is being fitted with data and other test equipment as scheduled tests, scheduled later this year at White Sands, - including the escape system, followed by a ground landings, fast approach.
